To właśnie w tym tańcu najlepiej ujawnia się dusza człowieka. Wszyscy znają bogate tradycje Gruzinów i ich miłość do tańca. Tańce gruzińskie są znane na całym świecie. Ich piękno nie pozostawiają nikogo obojętnym.

Czas pojawienia się gruzińskiego tańca ludowego nie jest znany. Twierdzi się, że informacje o folklorze tanecznym są wzmiankowane jeszcze przed naszą erą. Najbardziej znane to acharuli, kartli, mtiuluri, kintouri i samaya.

Acharuli to taniec adżarski. Kolorowe kostiumy, jaskrawe przedstawienia i proste ruchy czynią taniec atrakcyjnym. Acharuli to taniec romantyczny oparty na flirtowaniu i zabawie tancerzy.

Cartouli - taniec weselny, odzwierciedlający surowość moralności Gruzinów. Skromność, maniery i wdzięk - najważniejsza rzecz w tym tańcu. Podczas przedstawienia partnerzy tańczą na odległość, nie dotykając się.

Mtiluri to taniec górski, który jest uosobieniem odwagi Gruzinów. Jego znaczenie polega na konkurowaniu o kobiety i terytorium.

Kintoori to taniec miejski, który pokazuje życie mieszkańców starego Tbilisi. Nazwa tańca pochodzi od słowa "kinto", które było nazwą małych ulicznych sprzedawców w Tbilisi. Taniec charakteryzuje się orientalnymi, azjatyckimi rytmami, ekstrawaganckimi ruchami i zabawnymi gestami.

Samaya to pochwała i uwielbienie Carycy Tamary. Taniec jest wykonywany przez trzy dziewczyny. Delikatne i pełne gracji ruchy tworzą atmosferę piękna, sławy i siły.

Dzisiaj można podziwiać wiele gruzińskich zespołów, które podróżują po całym świecie zapoznając inne narody ze swoją kulturą. Jeśli chociaż raz w życiu poszczęściło Wam się zobaczyć takie przedstawienie, na pewno nigdy nie zapomnicie tego widowiska. Często też się zdarza, że zwiedzając na przykład Tbilisi, możecie podziwiać początkujące zespoły występujące w knajpach ze swoimi piosenkami i nawet tańcami.
